Hi, I am Haiyi(pronounced like “Hi-E”)!

I’ve loved literature, poetry, painting, and dancing for as long as I can remember, laying the foundation for my love of art, photography, 35mm film, and cinematic imagery.

And when I pick up a camera, it feels like stepping into a dance with the people I photograph—sometimes graceful, sometimes messy, always real, and always a little bit magical.
